Did you know that even today, there are still hundreds of people groups who have never heard the glorious gospel of eternal life through Jesus Christ? That reality is both sobering and deeply stirring. While many of these unreached communities are found in the Middle East, they are also scattered across nations around the world—people who have yet to encounter the transforming Light and Love of Jesus. That amazes me!….

The Children’s Bread Lighthouse

Recently, Marilyn Thiessens, President of Utah Area Team, sent us news of the birth of a new Neighborhood Lighthouse in Utah. I believe that you will be encouraged by what Marilyn shared.
Marilyn said, “We birthed a new baby Lighthouse, the first of its kind here in Utah. It is a Lighthouse of intercession where Parents and Grandparents pray for their Children, Grands, Great Grands, and those yet to come. We named it “The Children’s Bread” for our local purposes….

For the Love of Money
Message from the End Human Trafficking Team
People are exploiting other people for money in every nation, including the countries where Aglow International has a presence. “For the love of money is the root of all evil….” 1 Timothy 6:10 KJV. Human Trafficking takes many forms. While sexual exploitation gets much of the attention, equally horrible are labor trafficking; removal of body parts; abuse of elderly people; and forced marriage. It is not just girls; it is also boys, poor and rich, young and old, persons with and without addictions. Human Trafficking is taking place everywhere; for example, in homes, hotels, restaurants, factories, fields, at major events, and in many other locations. Furthermore, trafficking is not always among strangers; it frequently is within families and among friends…

Running Towards The Throne!
Nancy shared in a recent post about a thought she was pondering. The thought came from a longtime friend of Aglow and speaker, Graham Cooke. Graham, at the time, was relaying the story of David and Goliath. As he spoke, he said that David was running towards Goliath. He wasn’t running towards a battle or even, necessarily, a victory. David was running towards his destiny. He was running towards the throne!
