We Know Some Stuff

If you were not able to be physically present in Washington, D.C. at the Aglow Conference this year, I hope you have taken the opportunity to watch the webcast, which will remain up through the end of the year, or download the sessions from the Aglow store. You will love watching General Boykin’s message. It is a powerful, personal testimony of the keeping power of prayer through many dangers, toils, and snares.

This year I had the opportunity to work at registration at conference, and I loved seeing everyone as you came to check in and print out your name tag. Wasn’t that a great experience? So quick and easy to do. We look forward to this new technology every year and to seeing you as well.

As I listened to each session at conference, I was struck by the impact Aglow has had in my life personally and how it has impacted countless lives around the world. I know you would agree with me that the impact has been life-changing.

I recently heard Jen Tringale say that God has to heal our blood so His people can walk in wholeness because He doesn’t have time to start over. I thought about this during each session – the way God has layered the truth and revelation He has poured into those in Aglow the last 59 years. We aren’t a little women’s group. We are an army who knows who we are and who our God is, and we are ready to move out to take territory at a moment’s notice. We are continually moving His Kingdom forward.

What you bring to your community is invaluable. I hope that as you have conversations or even listen in on conversations, you are bold and courageous to step in with the wisdom and knowledge you have gained through your years of serving and being trained in Aglow. We know some stuff!

When God said that He has placed us both spiritually and geographically around the world, never underestimate the importance of what your Aglow group brings to the table. I encourage you to provide information that will enable others to recognize the signs of anti-Semitism and equip them to be able to speak about why Christians will always stand with Israel. Aglow has so many tools to help you bring education and training to those in your community.
