Creativity and Jesus

Creativity and Jesus

Patty Davis and her husband, Zack, serve as the Oregon State Prayer Coordinators and as co-leaders of the Warrenton/Hammond, OR Neighborhood Lighthouse. They were teaching Gamechangers to a small group of folks in their home when two of the ladies noticed Patty’s watercolor paintings on our walls. They told Patty that they were interested in learning to paint with watercolors.

Patty said, “I offered a painting class after our Gamechangers group. They were excited! After our Gamechangers study time, Dixie Carver and Diana Brunes stay to paint. They are just beginning, yet are doing quite well. Painting is a relaxing time where we can talk about the ups and downs of life and about Jesus. We often share difficult issues. We then talk about how we can apply the Fruit of the Spirit or some of the concepts taught in Gamechangers. Graham Cooke’s teaching has open new avenues for them to solve problems plus see people and obstacles in a different light.”

Dixie and Diane are thrilled to participate in both Gamechangers and painting. They are growing in their identities and in their artistic abilities. Jesus loves creativity. And so do we!

I’m so blessed to have Zack and Patty in my life. We’ve known each other for over 40 years. I bumped into Patty on a trip to Costco. We started talking and she mentioned a class Game Changer it sounded very interesting to me. So I started going. And that’s when Patty introduced me to painting. I was enjoying my time and thought I would invite my friend Diana to join us. What a blessing that the Lord reconnected us later in life. I lost my husband, Ron in a ladder accident 6/20/2025. Patty house been there for me, and I love, and appreciate her so much. God bless me.🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
