An Image-Bearing, Worshipping Force

A few months ago, I shared a few keys from Ray Hughes 2011 Conference message. As I went back to look at it again recently, this key struck a chord within me:

• We are created as an image-bearing, worshipping force to invade the nations of the earth and redeem the sound back to a place of worship, back unto the Throne of God.

I love this! Do you think of yourself as an ‘image-bearing, worshipping force’ that is carrying both God’s Presence and a redeeming sound that shakes and shifts the atmosphere with every step you take? Really, we should incorporate this into our identity statement.

And check out this key:

• God looks for a people who will access His Glory, His Power, and see even greater things done.

Do you remember Graham Cooke saying in 2008, “God needs, and requires, a company of people who are going to go off the deep end. He needs a company of people that He can use as a visual aid to the earth and that His people will no longer be about business as usual.”

Graham went on to talk about the dreams of God. I think they match up well with what Ray said in 2011.

• The Father has a dream about His Church. It is a dream where sickness cannot live.
• The Father dreams about it being on earth as it is in Heaven.
• The Father dreams about millions upon millions of people being set free from oppression.
• The Father has dreams about His Church being vibrant communities full of worship, full of power, full of laughter and love.
• The Father has dreams of His people coming together to encounter Him.

Lou Engle said that he longs for our nation to long for the Presence of God to fill our land again. This certainly goes with what Graham and Ray are saying.

• The Father has a dream where His Word is written on people’s hearts and not memorized in their heads.
• The Father has a dream about His Church that is powerful, beautiful, and dreadful to the enemy.
• The Father has a dream about a community of people in the earth that are just like Him – unchangeable, unshakeable, unstoppable.

I want to encourage you to be the fulfillment of God’s dreams. Make your Aglow group known as a place where God encounters all who come, and when they leave, their hearts are healed, their minds are renewed, and there is joy in each step they take. Set the stage for those in your community to experience His Presence and to learn that they can be carriers of His Presence as they step into who God made them to be – an image-bearing, worshipping force! Be the fulfillment of God’s dreams! Run the devil out of your community, state, and nation!
