The Light Still Shines – We Are Aglow

“And the glory of the Lord shone around them” – Luke 2:9. What a marvelous night in Bethlehem when the Glory of the Lord suddenly broke through the darkness to announce the birth of Jesus into the world! The good news of the gospel is that nothing can extinguish nor dim the Light of Christ in the earth or in our lives.

We, Aglow International, draw our name from Romans 12:11AMP, which says, “Be aglow and burning with the Spirit.” That same Spirit of God which illuminated the dark skies of Bethlehem to announce Jesus’ birth, shines through you and me! We are Aglow with that Heavenly Light that pierces through the darkness of our world. We are Aglow with the fire of Holy Spirit that brings passion, wholeness, healing, and everything that is ours because of the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

I pray that His Light breaks forth in your life in a fresh way as we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Lord. The light still shines! We are Aglow!
