This last week, we celebrated Mother’s Day, and I really began to think about Moms – especially young Moms. I thought back to when I first started in Aglow.
Having gone back through Graham Cooke’s 2025 Conference message, Radical Renewal, I viewed it through a new lens and saw 70 key statements that jumped off the page. You can access them on the Aglow website in four languages.
It is with great joy and gratitude that I write to you today to share exciting news regarding our International Board of Directors. I am continually inspired by how God is raising up leaders to serve His purposes across the nations, and today we celebrate two remarkable women stepping into new roles of influence and service.
The trafficking of humans existed centuries before Christ and, unfortunately, continues today. Very simply, human trafficking is the exploitation of a person for profit. Aglow International has had an Anti-Human Trafficking Ministry for approximately 15 years.
We have often said that Aglow was and is built upon the foundations of prayer and evangelism. We are known for prayer in the nations, and we are known for evangelism. We are also familiar with the words of Jesus in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” And, I believe it was Brother Andrew who said, “And, use words if necessary.”
As you may be aware, Aglow International was birthed during the Charismatic Renewal in the 60’s. People were hungry for more of God, and this fresh, new wave of interest in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit was the catalyst that propelled many into a deeper place in their relationship with God.
One of the beautiful Core Values of Aglow International is Freedom — “Standing firm against everything that enslaves” (Galatians 5:1). This value doesn’t just sit on a page; it moves us.
