Making Memories with Gen Z

Making Memories with Gen Z

Recently, Helen Joy Duperree was honored to meet two new Kingdom Gen Z friends who drove from D.C. to spend some time talking, praying, and sharing a meal. As they gathered around the table, Helen said that her heart could not contain the synergy in the room.

Allie Paris, seated on the left in the picture, comes from a powerful Kingdom legacy. Her aunt is Contemporary Christian artist Twila Paris, and her great-uncle is Loren Cunningham of YWAM.

Abigail DeJarnatt, on the right, is the founder of Counteract USA. When Abigail saw her generation struggling with hopelessness and the deconstruction of their faith, God changed her direction by igniting a passion within her to equip her generation to stand on God’s Word and counteract the many narratives playing out in society with the Gospel of Jesus. Allie also works alongside Abigail at Counteract USA as the Chief Operating Officer.

Helen said, “I am so inspired by Abigail and Allie and all that God is doing through them. It was an honor for me to speak into their lives and to pray over them. I am confident that they will make a mark on their generation, and I will be encouraging them as they go. I am so excited to be part of His Kingdom and to be running my race alongside so many great generations!”

In the picture with Abigail and Allie is Nancy Hansen, with whom Helen has worked with for many years.

We would love to hear how your Aglow group is welcoming the younger generations into what you are doing in your community.
