God’s Authority

The following is a daily thought taken from Nancy McDaniel’s Facebook page.

Aglow International, we have been called and anointed to release the will of God, the goodness of God, and the government of Heaven into every nation and sphere of influence on the earth. Along with this, we dismantle evil that opposes God’s purposes! This is our governmental calling. We grasp the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven and apply the authority Christ established in the Ecclesia in Matthew 16:18-19. We do this through prayer and spiritual decrees, through voicing biblical values, through releasing the prophetic voice of the Lord, through the wisdom that originates in Heaven, through the living power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, as we join hands with Aglow intercessors around the world, we take the keys of Your Kingdom to unlock the purposes of Heaven on earth and to bind anything that opposes You. We step into the fullness of the authority You have given us as Your Ecclesia, Your ambassadors to bring Your rule into our nations. We declare with the full power of the One who established us on His Rock that Your Kingdom shall come and Your will shall be done in earth as it is in Heaven. We stand in strength and courage knowing that the very gates of hell cannot stop what You shall do through us! Amen.

Matthew 16:18-19 TPT “I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this rock will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build my church – my legislative assembly, and the power of death will not be able to overpower it! I will give you the keys of Heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in Heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in Heaven.”

• Lord, there is no Cancer in Heaven, therefore we forbid Cancer on the earth! We release the fulfillment of Your Word to Aglow that as we gather, there will not be one sick or feeble among us, in Jesus Name!
• Lord, there are no gangs or violent protests in Heaven, therefore we forbid gangs and violent protests on the earth! We release the fulfillment of Your Word to Aglow that there will be a Lighthouse in every city! Let lighthouses spring up in fulfillment of this word!
• Lord, there is no division or strife between family members in Heaven, therefore we forbid division and strife between family members on earth! We release the fulfillment of Your Word to Aglow that the older and the younger shall run together. It will be two generations running together! It will not be a sloppy hand off or a wandering into place! We shall run side by side, in fulfillment of Your Word in Jesus Name!

Prophetic Declarations

From the moment they are spoken, prophetic words belong to us and must become as real in our hearts as they are in the heart of God. As the prophetic word is spoken, see God standing in the future, speaking back to you in the present. He is telling you who you are becoming. Be encouraged!

Here is part of a prophetic word Chuck Pierce brought to Aglow during a Regional Rally while in Dallas, Texas last year.

Aglow is coming into Phase Five of Prophetic Anointing

“There are five levels of the prophetic that we operate in. We all prophesy according to our faith.

1. The first level is comfort. If you have ever comforted someone, you have prophesied.
2. The second level is encouragement. If you have ever encouraged someone, you have prophesied.
3. The third level is exhortation. That means you might have to tear something down before you can build it into the future.
4. The fourth level is directive prophecy.
5. And then, the fifth level is redemptive prophecy. THAT MEANS, WHAT GOD’S ORIGINAL INTENT WAS, WE SPEAK IT, AND IT BEGINS TO COME INTO GOD’S ORDER FOR THE FUTURE.”

Chuck went on to say that he believes Aglow is coming into phase five of its call, prophetically. That Aglow will make its shift into a prophetic revival, but that it will be a revival of redemptive prophecy. In other words, what we need to deliver someone into to bring them to fulness – has already been paid for! It means that God has a supreme desire to accomplish something and, in this season, as we recognize His Spirit at work among us, He will bring Aglow fully into His original intent! Hallelujah! Let’s declare some things together!

• Lord, we align ourselves with Your Word spoken to Aglow through Your servant, Chuck Pierce!
• Lord, You said in 2 Chronicles 20:20, “Believe in the Lord your God; so shall you be established. Believe His prophets, so you will prosper!”
• Lord, we believe and declare that Aglow is in phase five of our call, prophetically! We call for Your original intent for Aglow International to come into Your divine order in the earth!
• We call for a prophetic revival in each Aglow gathering!

Surrounding Israel in Prayer

Tikkun Global “The bible is full of issues of justice, not just grace and salvation. Yeshua wants us to understand and deal with these issues so we can prepare for His coming kingdom. We need to be trained up in His righteousness. The Kingdom of God is a government with a King. His righteousness is His judicial system.

One of the central prayers in Judaism is the standing prayer or the Amidah. Included in this daily prayer is Isaiah 1:26:

I will restore your judges as at the first, And your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.

The question in Israel is who decides what is right? What are the agreed upon values that form the basis for judgment? Is it the religious community or the secular government? These conflicts cause chaos in the government and impact the strategies for the execution of war in Gaza.”

• Pray that believers will not believe what the media is circulating without understanding the facts.
• Pray that believers will “come up higher” as Revelations 4:1 encourages us to do.
• Pray that as believers, we will engage in judicial thinking in order to help bring His Kingdom justice to earth.
• Pray that Yeshua, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, will establish justice under His leadership.
• Pray that believers will learn to think analytically in complex situations.

Summon the Nations!

Aglow International is called to take the Light of Jesus, bring hope and build the Kingdom in all communities, cities and nations.

• “Look! You will summon nations you’ve never heard of! Nations who have never heard of you will come running to follow you because Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you.” Isaiah 55:5 TPT
• “He will lift up a banner to signal the distant nations; He whistles for them to come from the ends of the earth. Look! Here they come, running swiftly and speedily!” Isaiah 5:26 TPT
• “I will whistle for them and gather them in, for I have redeemed them, and they shall be as many as they were before!” Zechariah 10:8 ESV

Aglow in the Gates of the Nations

We are praying for Aglow to be affiliated in every nation of the world! We are very close to reaching that goal. Let’s continue to move forward together, a company of champions and global leaders of significance, to see Every nation touched, every heart changed.

• Declare Awakening throughout these nations of the earth:
  • Reunion, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, Somalia, Eswatini (Formerly Swaziland)
• Lord, let Aglow spread to every nation in the earth!
• Lord, let Aglow hasten Your coming by bringing in the nations!
• Lord, let the Joy of Jesus fuel every warrior in Aglow around the world!
• Let Your Kingdom come! Let Your will be done in Aglow on earth!

Pray also for these nations of Asia where Aglow has a presence. Pray for greater influence on earth as it is in Heaven! Pray for new leaders to arise!

A Note and A Prayer

When I first heard Nancy McDaniel preaching from Matthew 16:18-19, I was sitting in an Aglow Britain conference near Manchester, England. I had read that passage plenty of times. Nancy even said in her message, that she had heard it preached from plenty of times! But as she began to read those words afresh – I perked up. Let’s read it slowly once more, from The Passion Translation: “I will give you the keys of Heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in Heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in Heaven.” Selah.

The footnote includes this: “16:19 “whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in Heaven.” Or “that which you forbid on earth must be that which is already forbidden in Heaven, and that which you permit on earth must be that which is already permitted in Heaven.”

Suddenly, a lightbulb went on in my head!!! I had been reading it all wrong! Thank God we have the Holy Spirit, who is leading us into Truth! I had been reading it as the KJV wrote it – that if I bind something on earth, then Heaven will respond and back the thing I am binding. But that’s not what is being emphasized here! (Though Heaven will respond when we pray according to the Word)! Jesus is making a point to the disciples about the ecclesia – which means, “legislative assembly.” And He was pointing out that they had been selected to govern the affairs of their city. Those were the keys He gave them! And He was explaining that if something didn’t exist in Heaven – then it was up to them to make sure it didn’t exist on earth!

WOW. What a difference in meaning! Aglow, we have a lot of work to do in our cities and our nations of the earth! Let’s begin taking authority no matter how small a thing might be. Let’s practice forbidding on earth the things that we know don’t exist in Heaven!

Lord, we repent for not stepping into this verse more wholly and for allowing things on earth that don’t exist in Heaven! Help us as we intentionally govern the affairs of our cities and nations by using the keys You’ve given us. Amen
