Genetta Strong was born on November 12, 1924. She married and had four children. Somewhere along her journey, she met Jesus, and then she found Aglow. From our records, it seems Genetta was never a leader in a Lighthouse or on an Area Team in Alabama; however, we believe she had the gift of helps and was always available to lend a helping hand in whatever was needed in the Lighthouse she attended because Genetta became an A-Company member many years ago. Our records show she started giving $10 a month back in October 2002 and she never stopped, giving her last gift five days before leaving for Heaven at the age of 100.
As we looked at her beautiful, smiling face, our heart was touched by her faithful love throughout the years of giving into a ministry that she trusted and believed in. We wanted to acknowledge her generous heart to give and to let the whole world know of her faithfulness. Well done, Jett, well done! What left your heart touched ours. Thank you for being one who gave into the Presence of God in Aglow.

What a Lovely Tribute to my Mom, GENETTA “JETT” STRONG, given with the Heart of God’s Love!!!This is exactly why Mom sought out WOMEN’s AGLOW LIGHTHOUSES every place she and Dad traveled with his job. She found the Lord living through women and men in States, as Ohio, Kentucky, New York, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama…all across this Nation and even, in The Fiji Islands.
The Lord used her in His Gifts and she never was ashamed of His Precious Holy Spirit, even yielding to Him to deliver a message IN THE FIJIAN TONGUE during a Prayer Meeting with locals… those there surely DID UNDERSTAND WHAT THE LORD WAS SAYIING IN THEIR MIDST!!!
Mom lived in God’s Freedom of Extraordinary Love and Joy and served the ALABASTER AGLOW LIGHTHOUSE as a Member and on the Board for her latter years. WHAT AN AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST!!!
My Mom, was a SOUL WINNER for JESUS… she prayed ME AND MANY OTHERS INTO HIS KINGDOM!!! She lived ONE HUNDRED YEARS ON EARTH, and WAS SATISFIED WITH LONG LIFE!!!
