You have heard it said that Lighthouses are a gift of God to the community. And in 2006, a prophetic word was given that there would be a Lighthouse in every village, town, and city around the world. Why would God want an Aglow Lighthouse in all those places around the world?

Recently, I read a few articles discussing the “comeback” of Christianity in the US and other nations around the world. While we know Christianity didn’t go anywhere, the data is amazing with some nations seeing church attendance amongst 18 to 24-year old’s quadruple in the span of 4 years!

Quite a few years ago, the US National Leadership Team decided that all those who would be leaders in Aglow in the US would be required to go through GameChangers and LifeChangers. Since that time, MANY continue to lead new people and people who have been through it before through the course.

With Jane’s retirement, I will be moving to Texas this month and will set up my Aglow office to work remotely. You will still be able to reach me by calling my direct line (425-275-0224) and my phone will ring in Texas!

As I think back on the many things I have learned in Aglow in my nearly 50 years of service as a volunteer in the field and 21 years at Aglow Headquarters, my prayer is that we are continuing to impart life giving lessons to those who attend our Aglow gatherings across the United States. So many are hurting with compiled disaster after disaster. Homes have been destroyed, family members lost and hope seems deferred. The Bible says in Proverbs 13:12 that hope deferred makes the heart sick. Into the middle of this deferred hope, God has positioned Aglow in communities…

Jenn Tringale, a new speaker at the recent Aglow Conference in Dallas, TX made these dynamic comments during her message. As a 10-yr-old girl, I saw women taking their place and that impacted me as a young woman. As women, when God calls us, it is important to take our place in ministry as others are watching us. It brings hope to the generations to see those who have gone before them, serving the Lord with excellence. Who will stand in authority and win the day?
