The Zip Code Club is a children-focused prayer group whose mission is to learn how to pray. Formed in conjunction with a trip across Pennsylvania, it was birthed because we were looking for the next generation of leaders to bring up in Aglow.
Aglow International, a worldwide ministry, began in 1967. Isn’t it exciting that we will celebrate our 60th anniversary next year!
One of my granddaughters-in-law posts reels on Facebook regularly of her son, my great-grandson, Bowen. He will be turning two this month and is a happy child.
As promised in last month’s edition of the Aglow e-news, here is a list of supplies (in English) that every Aglow group should have on hand to be prepared to disciple the coming harvest of new souls into the Kingdom.
I was recently in a time of worship with a group of Aglow leaders. Though I was aware of those around me, everything else faded as the Presence of the Lord became the only thing that mattered.
In 2017, I had a sense that change was coming, and Lighthouse groups must be prepared to be ready to facilitate the change.

In 1979, the September/October issue (#42) of Aglow Magazine featured a small section on page 11 that announced, “Aglow is growing! The following groups were affiliated in June-July 1979.” It is quite amazing to see how far and wide the Lord moved in Aglow in the 12 years after Aglow started in 1967!
I love Lamentations 3:22-23. It says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning and great is Your Faithfulness.”
As a child growing up in the 1990s, there was a lot of information thrown at us very quickly as technology “grew up” with us.
In Graham Cooke’s 2014 conference in Albuquerque, NM, he spoke on the six expressions of the Church. As many know, the Greek word for Church is Ecclesia, a called-out company of people who are given specific purposes to achieve on earth.
