As I thought about what to share with you in this month of giving thanks, I thought of the hymn, “When I Survey the Wonderful Cross.” I particularly love the chorus that Michael W. Smith sings.
At our recent virtual conference, Graham Cooke reminded us of the importance of developing crafted prayers for these moments we are experiencing. These prayers are important in the direction we are going in ministry, health, finances, and relationships. Just last week at my desk here at HQ, the Lord reminded me about these crafted prayers
Aglow International has long been considered a “Network for Caring Women” and this was even more evident by the story discovered in an Aglow Connection newsletter from March, 1997.
When we know who God has made us to be in the earth as part of the Aglow ministry, we know how we are to stand in our communities all around the world. Let these words that Dutch Sheets spoke to Aglow in 2018 during the Friday night session bring strength, boldness, and courage to you as you oversee Aglow in your town. God has a plan, and Aglow, as a strategic part of the Ecclesia, has an important part to carry out. He has positioned us geographically and spiritually around the world. You and I have the incredible opportunity to be instrumental in being part…
This week during staff meeting, I feel the Lord reminded me of the prophetic word that there would be a Lighthouse in every town and village. Then I remembered a word I felt Holy Spirit whispered to me a while back. He said, “A Lighthouse is a gift He gives to a community. Recently, I have been organizing and updating our International Field records as we approach 60 years of Aglow Ministry in a couple of years (2027). In doing so, I have realized that we have some MAJOR milestones in Aglow to celebrate!
Christian and secular news stories, and social media videos/podcasts continue to speak of Gen Z’s (born 1997-2010) notable shift in their engagement with the Christian church.
As many of you may or may not know, I have been working remotely from Texas since the end of May. What does that mean for you?
