Zambia Teen Aglow Gate Keepers
Teen Aglow (Generations) in Zambia continues to expand into new Kingdom territory as their incredible group leaders are inspired by the Holy Spirit with new ways to reach the younger generations in their community and nation!
This group has begun a new layer of Generations ministry called “Gate Keepers.” Teen Aglow leader, Mbaweme, shares with us about the new group:
The Gatekeepers are the 18 and 19-year-olds in Teen Aglow, spending time in prayer and having open discussions about the Bible, culture, society, and all things that impact our walk with Christ.
We have online prayer meetings on Google Meet every Saturday evening from 20:00-20:45. These meetings are tagged ‘At the Fountain’, coming from Scripture Psalm 36:9, which says “The fountain of life flows from you. Your light lets us see light.
During our time “At the fountain, we hang out, we catch up on what’s happening in the world- like current affairs and social media trends through a biblical lens, and share our thoughts. We also hear inspiring Bible messages from The Gatekeepers and then pray together.” I would encourage Aglow women and men around the world to pray and ask the Lord how he might be leading you, in your community, to reach out to the younger generations! We are seeing new Aglow virtual groups opening (and virtual prayer groups) opening recently! If that is an option you would like to pursue, please contact me, JanaeLovern@aglow.org.
