Jeanette Ward Joins Aglow International Board of Directors
Aglow International is honored to welcome Jeanette Ward to the International Board of Directors (IBOD), a woman whose life and leadership have been marked by deep faith, steady service, and a passion to see others walk boldly in their God-given identity.
Jeanette currently serves as Chairperson of the South Pacific Regional Committee and National President of New Zealand, Samoa, and Tonga. For decades, she has faithfully poured into Aglow—strengthening leaders, encouraging believers, and helping expand the ministry’s reach throughout the South Pacific.
Her heart has always been clear: to see both women and men confidently embrace their identity and authority in Christ. Whether speaking at local Aglow fellowships, leading weekend retreats, or mentoring emerging leaders, Jeanette consistently calls people higher—encouraging them to rise into leadership both in the workplace and within the Body of Christ.
Jeanette’s journey in ministry has been shaped by a strong foundation of leadership and training. She studied for four years at Bible College New Zealand, earning a Ministry Internship Diploma, while actively serving in multiple leadership roles within her local church. Over the past thirty-plus years, she has seamlessly woven together church leadership, Aglow involvement, and regional influence.
Her long-standing relationship with Aglow includes six years as a Consultant to the Aglow New Zealand National Board before stepping into the role of National President in 2010. In the years that followed, her leadership expanded even further as she became Chairperson of the South Pacific Regional Committee.
Jeanette sees Aglow as a strategically positioned, apostolic and prophetic ministry—one that is advancing with fresh strategies from heaven. She carries a deep conviction that as individuals stand boldly in their calling, a great harvest will be gathered and the Body of Christ prepared for awakening. Inspired by Zephaniah 3:9, she envisions believers standing shoulder to shoulder in unity, proclaiming the purposes of God across the nations.
She is continually in awe of the doors God has opened for her to travel both nationally and internationally, and she is passionate about encouraging others to step through their own doors of opportunity with courage and faith.
Jeanette and her husband, Graeme, have been married for 55 years. Together, they have built a strong family legacy, with three children and seven grandchildren.
As Jeanette steps into this new role on the IBOD, she brings with her a wealth of experience, a heart for the nations, and an unwavering commitment to the call of God.
We are grateful for her leadership and look forward to all God will do through her in this next season.

What great news! Jeanette is a wonderful Christ-centred woman who “walks the talk.” As a visionary she will be such an asset to the International Board as she has been to us in New Zealand and the South Pacific. How exciting New Zealand is such a small country and so far from U.S.A., but we have an amazing President and I am so happy that she has been recognized by the International Board of Aglow and will now be part of that Board.
