eNews – What If?

This week during the staff meeting, I felt the Lord reminded me of the prophetic word that there would be a Lighthouse in every town and village. Then I remembered a word I felt Holy Spirit whispered to me a while back. He said, “A Lighthouse is a gift He gives to a community. It is meant to be a LIGHT that draws the people in that community to Him in order to bring change to the people and to the community.”

I have shared with you many times that I have always felt that when God places a Lighthouse in a community in the Spirit realm, it remains standing even after it has been abandoned in the natural. Sometimes, as leaders, we don’t think about the impact a Lighthouse has in the community. Sometimes, we think our numbers are small, so we should just turn off the Light and close the door.

Maybe I am thinking about this because we had a call from a woman in North Texas, looking for a Lighthouse; however, there was nothing within 2-3 hours of her. It is not odd that she called, as in July, we had 80 calls from women looking for Lighthouses. Sometimes we can connect them, but many times we can’t.

So, let’s think of this. What if Area Teams looked at the Lighthouses they used to have, and what if they contacted someone who used to be in that Lighthouse to see if they would be willing to open their home as a prayer group for Aglow? Affiliation not required. Just contact the Area Team on a regular basis. We have talked about this before. What if this time we did it? Graham also reminded us that. It’s one thing to take ground and another to keep it. As an apostolic prophetic ministry, it’s what we do.

We live in chaotic times, and people are looking for peace and hope. Aglow gives both!  Let’s take back some ground!
