Helen Joy says, “The teacher was so excited about praying for zip codes and getting the children involved in prayer that she asked to meet with me face to face. And another Catholic school in Pennsylvania is interested in the concept. The concept that God is now gathering schools through this simple idea that began with connecting with the grandchildren of the Aglow leaders who had passed away during COVID is an Ephesians 3:20 moment to me. I simply did not see that far ahead when I sat out to go by bus around the state to meet with a forgotten group of people His eye was upon. What a God!”
Here are the current statistics to show how God is moving through the Zip Code Club.
- The Zip Code Club is now active in 9 counties across the state of Pennsylvania.
- There are currently 7 Zip Code Captains with 2 of them covering 2 counties.
- There are currently 4 Jr. Zip Code Captains – more are being prepared, but are not quite ready.
- There are currently 21 Zip Code Club kids ranging in ages 3-12.
Helen Joy said, “Some of the issues in getting the kids in the door is in my corner. Everything I do requires a template – because I haven’t been this way before and neither have they! When a particular county has new kids join, it takes time to make up a new template for those zip codes. I simply can’t keep up with them! What a wonderful ‘problem’ to have! I have written a letter to Aglow leaders in the state asking for help with this. It takes time – yet I feel the breath of God on this. We must establish this young generation on a firm foundation of prayer. They are crucial to the future.”
Again, stretch your hand out towards Pennsylvania and call for the right person(s) to rise up to be the help needed to propel this crucial move of God forward. Call in all the funds needed. Give thanks to the Lord for giving the kids the boldness to stand firm in faith believing that the zip codes they are praying for will experience a reduction of crime, homelessness, attacks of sickness, and a move of Holy Spirit that cannot be denied! To God be the Glory and the great things He has done, is doing, and will continue to do!
