Helen Joy Duperree, State Prayer Coordinator in Pennsylvania, is enjoy her time in training the next generation of intercessors.
She said, “I have 4 members ages 6, 8, 10, and 12 that I cannot keep up with! I just mailed out new prayer journals for them. They are praying for 3-5 counties at a time – that is 200 zip codes!”
Included in the journals are a copy of their declarations, the prayer, a county map with the zip codes in that county, and stickers they use to help them remember where they left off in prayer. There is a certificate showing their progress. Helen Joy also has a map for each young intercessor so she can keep track of all they are praying over.
God is moving across our nation in the upcoming generation. Let’s be the prayer covering over them as they find their place in the Kingdom. Father, fill them with increased boldness to share the Gospel and to pray for others as they come across someone in need.
Let signs, wonders and miracles follow them wherever You lead them. This is a great reminder that there is No Jr. Holy Spirit – The same Spirit that dwells in each of us dwells in these young ones! Hats off to Helen Joy as she mentors the children!
