As Holy Spirit continued to unfold the direction for the Zip Code Club, Helen Joy knew that the kingdom of darkness was organized and that in Ephesians it spoke about how that kingdom was ranked. Soon, Holy Spirit opened her eyes to see how to rank Pennsylvania’s Kingdom army, too. When she arrived home, she set up 3 groups of 10 millennials and began a text with them. Soon they moved to a Zoom call. A space was made for them to get to know each other and to build a place for them to get to know God.
From there, Helen Joy realized that these millennials had children that were not being reached either and that is how the Zip Code Club came about.
Helen Joy started the Zip Code Club to teach children from the ages of 3-12 how to pray. First, they learn to pray for their zip code, then their county, their state, and then the nation, and beyond that the world. As the mothers and fathers were being mentored, God made a special place for their children, too!
Each Zip Code member receives a packet of information with a welcome letter, a map of their state and county with the zip codes for each county, and lots of stickers. As they pray for different zip codes, they use the stickers to place beside the zip code. They also receive a crafted prayer based off Acts 17 that they can pray over each zip code.
