Becoming an Heir of God

At the 2018 Leader’s Summit, Graham Cooke taught a session entitled, “Becoming an Heir of God.”

In reading though it again today, I was struck with how the keys Graham gave then will unlock doors for us today as we walk through life. Here are a few of them.

• Key 3: What will set us apart in the years to come is that we are not bound by anything that is occurring in the world because we have been set free to live before God in the Person of Jesus who has never been defeated. That is not propaganda. That is the Truth that sets us free.
• Key 4: There is always a higher level of Truth than just facts.
• Key 5: Consider that God is talking us out of being a needs based people into a people who live as sons of God who receive a new identity as joint heirs of Christ.

Under Key 5, Graham made these statements:

In these days, it is not enough to get your needs met, it is the baseline. It is the bottom level. What if the truth is that God wants to give you enough to help everybody on your street. What if He wants to use you to sow provision, and blessing, and the favor of God into people around you whose hearts are failing because of fear? What if God wants to make you a standout person in your generation, that people will come to you and say, ‘How do you do this? You have the same kind of job as us. How do you do this?’

I promise you, that if you will take the time to look back through this message, you will be encouraged, inspired, raised up, and empowered to walk as the heir of God that He intends you to be.
