Aglow Venezuela Prayer Retreat

Aglow Venezuela recently held their 2025 Prayer Retreat within their South American Region. The theme for the retreat was taken from Proverbs 4:23a: “Guard your heart above everything that is kept.” This Bible verse supports the theme and portrays the transforming encouragement that not only invites holiness and permanent intimacy with God. In His divine will, God showed Himself throughout the morning devotions, lectures, and spiritual ministering. His purposes were for hearts, but also for healing. During the retreat, the Lord performed miracles in hearts that didn’t know they needed healing and brought restoration to the brokenhearted, bandaging their unseen wounds.

The retreat held a powerful time of intercessory prayer for Israel, the United States, Venezuela, and the South American nations where Aglow continues to operate and establish what God has prepared for them for this time. They also prayed over Peru and for a re-establishment of Aglow in their nation. The retreat also included a time of prayer for those who do not know Christ, fulfilling the Great Commission in an evangelistic afternoon with the delivery of Bibles to the community, offering the message of the cross that brings meaning to lives on this earth and into eternity.

During the 2025 Prayer Retreat, a woman attended with a serious health situation. Without telling anyone what she felt, she attended the retreat with a strong health breakdown. She was unable to move her neck to the right side. When she arrived at the retreat, the oppression and discomfort she had felt increased into the second day. When an assistant pastor approached her and prayed for her. During the prayer, the discomfort worsened and she was afraid of something terrible happening. Suddenly, during the prayer, an intense cold entered her head and she said, “It felt as if a bird’s feather was falling gently.”

When she reacted, waking up, she was on the floor speaking in tongues with a voice that came from the depths of her being. Turning her head to the right side, she realized that she had no pain at all, no heaviness in her head and body, and she felt rejuvenated. She gave her testimony, giving glory to the Lord, and to what she received from Him at this prayer retreat of Aglow.
