In Parts 1 and 2 of Spiritual Warfare, we learned that we are soldiers in the Lord's army. Our job—to enforce the victory Jesus won over Satan when he died on the cross. In order to prepare us for our part in the battle, Jesus has delegated His authority to us and given us powerful weapons to fight with.
In Part 3 we will look at some important principles of spiritual warfare and at examples of warfare taken from the Old Testament to see how they apply to our spiritual warfare today.
Christians are encouraged to be good stewards. But good stewards of what? What does the term imply? In this study, we will take a broad look at stewardship.
When you think of the Holy Spirit, how do you picture Him? One of the difficulties of studying the Holy Spirit is the problem of building a concrete, physical picture of Him. Of course, we're trying to do the impossible. In a very real sense, the spiritual cannot be pictured. However, the Spirit, His purposes, and work can be compared to other things more understandable to us, and this is what God has done through the writers of Scripture.
In the first part of this study we looked at several symbols of the Holy Spirit: the dove, fire, oil and the cloud. In this second half we will continue to look at other symbols.
All of us experience temptation, and with each temptation comes a host of questions. Why does God allow us to be tempted? Does temptation have some purpose in our lives? Is being tempted a sin?
