Skits

• Dead Men Walking – Not!
  The “Dead Man Walking – Not!” skit is a great visual presentation of keeping the old man in the grave and walking in newness of life in Christ Jesus.  It requires 3 people and simple props.
• Grave Digger
  The “Grave Digger” skit is a reminder to live present/future rather than present/past. It requires 2 people and simple props.
• I Am A New What? 
  This skit is based on 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. It requires 4 people and several props.
• Three Dreams Skit 
  This skit goes along with the DVD of the first International Council session, Establishing a Kingdom Culture, which was held in Houston, TX in 2011 at the Aglow International Worldwide Conference. The three dreams in the skit were given to Graham Cooke who spoke along with Jane Hansen Hoyt, during the Council sessions. Performing this skit is a great visual example of how the old man tries to control us even after accepting Christ. The good news is that we are walking daily with new thoughts, new ways of seeing, and new ways of speaking, no longer judging people by behavior or pointing out sin, but seeing the God potential in them. 
  
  The skit will require various props, an old man, young man, narrator, and various people who will walk down the sidewalk as though they are busy in the city.

• From Which Tree
  The scriptural background for this teaching is from Galatians 5:19-26.  The design is to see that within the freedom that Christ purchased for us, we are not to use that freedom or liberty in a way that is not pleasing to God.  This compares to God’s commandment to Adam and Eve in the Garden in Genesis 2:16-17.  We have experienced first-hand what happened because they ate from the tree that God forbade them to partake from and we find ourselves daily facing the same choice.  Do we eat from the fruit of the flesh in Galatians 5:19-21 or do we eat from the Fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-26?  Eat from the Fruit of the Spirit.

• How to Prepare A Personal Identity Statement 
  We draw our identity from how we are known in Heaven. God relates to us in our time on earth as He fully sees us. He has sent us here to reign and rule. Therefore, it is of extreme importance that we gather His words and thoughts towards us and write them down to keep before our eyes. All of hell is set to stop us from being everything that God has said. We overcome by the word of our testimony about who God is and who He is for and in us.

• Sound
  A tree falls in the forest. Does it make a sound? Of course it makes a sound! Yet only those with an ear to hear are able to hear the sound of the falling tree. Proverbs talks about wisdom calling out to those passing by, yet only those with an ear to hear wisdom’s advice give heed. The same is true of everyone who listens intently for sounds from Heaven. Only those whose ears are open will hear.
  • God Builds Sound Within Aglow 
     From a cluster of words that began in 2003, it is clear to see how God has been building within us a sound to be released in the earth. It is a sound that brings right order in the earth realm. It is a sound that releases His glory in fullness for all to see.
  • Becoming Part of the Sound 
    So not only can singing move the Earth, singing can move Heaven. When God speaks to you prophetically, or any other way, He’s not saying what will be, but He’s creating what will be when He says it. That’s the new sound. There is the new song.
