A team of three Aglow prayer warriors met together in Raleigh, North Carolina, for Capital Prayer. Gwen Campbell, North Carolina State Prayer Coordinator writes, Everywhere we stepped throughout the capitol building, we proclaimed truth and righteousness. Before the others arrived, I went to the Governor McCroy’s office and quietly prayed outside the door for him, and for the meeting that was going on inside.
When the rest of the team arrived we walked throughout the entire building, praying for each Senator and Representative as we passed by. Lastly we ended up in the chapel, and had a wonderful time of prayer, reading scripture and making declarations. While there, I told the ladies about ‘scouting prayer’, and they were very interested in doing that in Raleigh. I told them they could drive or walk, and just follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as to where they should stop and pray, and who they were to pray for.
One of the ladies said that if four ladies sat at a kitchen table and decided to begin a ministry called ‘Aglow’ that is now in 170 nations, think of what four ladies could do if they came together to change a city! We also prayed about ‘coming together in unity’ for churches and ministries to advance God's Kingdom in a greater way.
