“Our Aglow booth at the Hills Alive event was a little touch of heaven. It also helped let people know who we are as a movement,” writes Sande Lofberg, US Regional Director - Great Plains Rocky Mountain Region. “The Hills Alive event draws over 20,000 people from over five states, so it’s a great outreach. More than 20 bands were there, including Steven Curtis Chapman and the Newsboys.”
“At our booth we had a stack of about 70 random pictures, and people could pick a picture without looking at it. Then some Aglow men and women would look at the picture and speak encouraging words to the person. The people were amazed at some of the accurate words shared. One woman didn’t share what touched her, but sobbed softly as the Lord ministered to her.”
“People would leave, and bring friends back. We were letting them see and hear how God speaks. Several asked if they could be on the speaking side to try to hear what the Lord was saying. They were encouraged that what they heard was from the Lord, and benefitted the hearer. It was different for sure, but very faith and body building!”
