Once again, the Aglow Prison Ministry brought hope and encouragement to many who were incarcerated this Christmas. Jill Meskimen, Aglow Prison Ministry President writes, “This time of year it is very difficult for those behind bars. They miss their children, miss having a home and someone to love them."
"The APM teams go into prisons and jails to bring hope to the hopeless and to encourage them in Christ. Many times Jesus is the only One they have to cling to, and they draw near to Him. When possible we do special Christmas programs and some facilities allow us to take in books or goodies. Some don't let us take anything at all. But we can take in all the LOVE Christ has to offer. A great gift!"
"Most of the women and men in prison or jail are ordinary people who have made a mistake. Most have been abused and grew up in broken homes. Please remember them in prayer.”
