God is using willing voices to reach Muslim women who have never heard about Jesus. An Aglow leader in a *Restricted Nation has been invited twice by a ministry who helps Syrian refugees to meet with a group of their ladies. The ministry is run by a pastor and his wife, who is also an Aglow woman. They give a portion of food to each lady and her family on a monthly basis, and then invite them to hear the Word of God.
In a report to the Aglow Headquarters Office our leader writes, “Nearly 400 ladies attended the first meeting; most of them were veiled. I shared a simple message with them: The true love of God is through His Son Jesus. Together we explored some examples from the Bible demonstrating His special love for women. They were so impressed by the Presence of God. There were tears in their eyes because they are all suffering from very hard circumstances, such as leaving their home towns, poverty, sickness, and some of their children are in the battle. We prayed together and asked Jesus to come to their hearts. I knew from their claps and smiles at the end that they were happy to receive this beautiful message. I was blessed to be invited to share the Gospel with them.”
“Before the first meeting I was afraid because I had never shared with veiled ladies before, but the Lord gave me Jeremiah 1: 7-10, which gave me courage. But the LORD said to me, ‘Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,’ declares the LORD. Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, ‘I have put My words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.’”
“In the second meeting I felt the Presence of the Lord and the anointing of the Holy Spirit very powerfully. I sensed an open Heaven in the spiritual realm, and I knew that was because of your prayers. At the end of the meeting many ladies asked me to pray for them, because as one woman said, "You believe in Jesus". I prayed for their healing, their loved ones, their needs, provision for food, and medicines. Because they are very poor, they have lack of everything! They have good and simple hearts. I kiss each lady who comes to me, and I hug her so she can feel the loving heart of Jesus towards her.”
“It is such a joy when we are serving God on the front lines. I pray for more opportunities to reach Muslim women. Please pray for these women and for future meetings I will have with this group.”
