As the Aglow Headquarters staff became aware of Typhoon Neoguri heading in the direction of Japan, they gathered together for prayer. An email was sent to the Aglow Japan leadership letting them know the staff was covering Japan with prayer.
The staff received an encouraging report from Aglow Japan after the storm had passed. Kiyomi Yamamoto, Aglow Japan National Secretary writes, “Thank you very much for your email. The typhoon brought much damage to Nagano, Yamagata and Okinawa, but all Aglow members are protected. Thank you very much for your prayer. The typhoon passed Tokyo area this morning but we did not have much rain or wind. We have a blue sky in our area.”
