In November, a Transformation Team traveled to Myanmar bringing the good news of the gospel, sharing the love of the Father, praying for the sick, and ministering to extend God's Kingdom.
In a letter to the intercessors who prayed for the trip, Janet Mangum, Aglow Transformation Director writes, “This team took seriously the messages sent to us. We enjoyed our attempts and we left out all the ‘Christianeze’! That was a fun learning curve. Instead of always saying God, we loved using the term ‘Father’, which He is to all of us, and Jesus as our boss was very effective.”
“We met with over 1,000 people, many of them becoming new family members. They were from a variety of religious backgrounds. Our greatly diverse team flowed together as if we had known each other for years! That's prayer effectiveness! We stayed in two hotels. Some roomed with strangers and became close lifetime friends. Most stepped out in prayer, in speaking, and sharing in ways that were completely new to them, and yet it all was so blessed.”
“We traveled by taxis, metal benched tuk tuks, river boats, ferries, vans, cars, and motorcycles. Whew! We made it safely every time! Every day there were myriad reasons why prayer was important. We leaned on the Lord and our prayer support trusting everything would be beautiful. And it was - it truly was!”
“May the Lord Jesus Himself bless you for your gift of love toward the Myanmar people and our team!”
