Raleigh Aglow Lighthouse Prayer for Schools

In July members of the leadership team from the Raleigh North Carolina Aglow Lighthouse got together to pray at four schools in the area. Gwen Campbell – North Carolina SPC, Karen Hunt - President, Janice Petway - VP of Finances, Juanita Richardson - Prayer Chairman, and Lantha Green - NCC Area Team, started at 9:00am beginning at Hope Elementary School, then went on to Carnage Middle School, Enloe High School, finally praying at the Campbell University School of Law.

Gwen writes, “Karen has been heading prayer for schools for the past few years. She includes all four categories of schools each year, selecting different schools throughout Raleigh, symbolizing children of that age group throughout North Carolina.

The team prayed according to Matthew 8:18 to break addiction to T.V., social media, pornography, drugs and other things, praying for the children at each school level, their parents, bus drivers, teachers, principals and all staff members.

The group took Air Supremacy over the schools, releasing the power of the Holy Spirit along with the mighty angelic host to join with them as they prayed Heaven to earth. Gwen writes, “It was an awesome day for prayer. God truly gave us favor with the weather. It was a powerful time of prayer with great women of God.”

And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him. And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for. John 5:14-15, NLT
