A Testimony from India: Divine Healing for God’s Glory
My name is Martha Magaar and I am from Bhalukhop, Kalimpong (India). I would like to share my small but blessed testimony with you all. I had a lump on the left side of my breast. It used to cause me a lot of pain. I went to the doctor and he suggested surgery. I didn't want surgery as I had already had one on my left arm before. I prayed to God that He let it be healed without surgery. While praying, God gave me the verse from Jeremiah 17:14, Lord, You alone can heal me, You alone can save, and my praises are for You alone. (Living Bible)
For many days many friends, including the Aglow team, prayed for me. I was very tense and nervous as my surgery day was coming near. The day approached and I was hospitalized for my surgery. My doctor came and told me that tomorrow I would have my operation and to get ready. The next day I kept my stomach empty, wore my surgical gown and waited for the doctor. I even put in a prayer request with my photo on my WhatsApp asking for prayer as I was getting ready for my operation. Then my turn for the surgery came. The doctor came and said that before the operation he needed to check the lump once. He checked and was very surprised! He told me “it’s a miracle! Your lump is healed and there is no need to do an operation! You can go home.”
Praise the Lord! I was thrilled and know that God heard my prayers and healed me. It was a "WOW" moment for me. So dear friends, I just want to tell you all that our God is good and can do anything. If you are sick, don't lose hope, love or perseverance and keep your faith. He will heal you and use you for His glory!
