Attendees at the 30th Anniversary conference of Aglow Togo described it as “awesome!” Aglow Togo National President, Agnes Eho Johnson, was amazed when twice as many delegates attended as had been expected. The Aglow leaders had arranged for lunch to be served to the registered delegates at a prestigious hotel in Lomé, and the President of Togo had graciously offered to pay for lunch for the expected 300 people! When conference registration was complete and they discovered that 600 people had registered , Agnes could not go back to the President to tell him that the number had doubled. So God helped them to find money to pay for the extra 300 people!
Five Government officials attended the conference, all who were Christians, and a number of invited speakers. There was Aglow representation from Burkina Faso, Central Africa Republic, Ghana, Benin, Cote D'Ivoire, France, Senegal, Zambia and DRoC. Aglow National President Agnes Eho Johnson and Elizabeth Mbuzi, Chairman of the Aglow Africa Committee and National President of Aglow Zambia, were interviewed by national television about Aglow.
Aglow Togo is very active in Capital Prayer. Agnes and a small group of Aglow leaders pray every Monday for the nation and the President, and every two weeks the President of the Republic takes part, staying at the prayer meeting from beginning to end. Gertrude Ekoko, Vice President of the Africa Committee and National President of Aglow Congo, and Marie Louise Yakemba, Francophone Secretary of the Africa Committee and National President of Aglow Central Africa Republic were able to attend the prayer meeting on the Monday following the Aglow Conference, and were blessed when the President talked with them for a few minutes.

Cinq représentants du gouvernement ont assisté à la conférence, tous chrétiens, et un certain nombre d'orateurs invités. Il y avait des représentants d'Aglow du Burkina Faso, de la République centrafricaine, du Ghana, du Bénin, de la Côte d'Ivoire, de la France, du Sénégal, de la Zambie et de la DRoC. La présidente nationale d'Aglow, Agnes Eho Johnson, et Elizabeth Mbuzi, présidente du Comité Aglow Afrique et Présidente nationale d'Aglow Zambie, ont été interviewées par la télévision nationale au sujet d'Aglow.
Aglow Togo est très actif dans la prière capitale. Agnès et un petit groupe de dirigeants d'Aglow prient tous les lundis pour la nation et le Président, et toutes les deux semaines le Président de la République y participe, restant à la réunion de prière du début à la fin. Gertrude Ekoko, vice-présidente du Comité Afrique et Présidente Nationale d'Aglow Congo, et Marie Louise Yakemba, Secrétaire francophone du Comité Afrique et Présidente Nationale d'Aglow Afrique Centrale, ont pu assister à la réunion de prière sur le lundi suivant la Conférence Aglow, et ont été bénis lorsque le président a parlé avec eux pendant quelques minutes.
