Did you know that Generation Z, ages 13-27, is currently the largest generation on earth? With 68.6 million Gen Z’s living in the USA, making up 22% of the global population and 27% of the global workforce, they are a force to be reckoned with! Imagine what God will do through this Generation! I am believing that as Gen Z (and Gen Alpha- 12 and under) grow in faith, love their neighbors, serve their communities, and become disciples of Christ they are going to do mighty things for the Kingdom of Heaven! God’s hand is on the youth of this generation and He has BIG plans for them!
Join me, Janae Lovern - Director of Aglow Generations, each Wednesday on The Aglow Generations Podcast* as I explore these ideas and more. New Spiritual Openness
Our discovery this month is that spiritual openness is widespread right now. Among U.S. adults, 77% say they believe in God or a higher power. 74% say they would like to grow spiritually. 44% say they are more open to God today than they were before the pandemic.*
How do you engage with a visitor to your Lighthouse, a neighbor, a friend of a friend, or someone the Lord points out to you?
First, expect to be greeted with warmth, a certain reverence for the Bible, and an interest in the backstory of your faith. Ask them about their experience with faith and look for common ground. Listen more than you talk. Be relational and a good conversationalist.
Remember the old saying, “Actions speak louder than words.” People observe how you live. The hypocrisy of Christians, and lack of “a mature faith,” is the number one reason non-Christians doubt the faith of Christians.*
People value relationship and authenticity in this digital age. The traits associated with Jesus often align with what they hope to find in spirituality. They have a hard time trusting religious institutions, but they want something or Someone real. Mature, considerate, invitational believers who live their faith can help them find Who they are looking for.

2018 Saturday Afternoon Message
- Key: Aglow is coming into a greater anointing to birth the purposes of God in the earth.
- Key: His Glory emanating through us will change everyone around us.
- Key: There is a remnant of praying believers who understand who they are and who Holy Spirit is in them who is declaring and releasing the Word of the Lord in POWER – power that brings to birth that which has been declared.
- Key: There is something so powerful happening in the Spirit in this hour that will cause the purposes of God to be birthed in days.
- Key: As assignments come from the Lord, we will need to carry them out quickly rather than taking months to plan every detail.
- Key: Aglow has the anointing of the watchman.
A part of the Watchman anointing is to:
- discern what the enemy is doing
- cut off his supply line
- surround him
- cut off what he has been doing for centuries.
You will lay siege to watch a city, not so that you can protect it, but so that you can take it. It means to spy on a person so you can ambush them.
- Key: Aglow is a ministry that has been prepared to play a significant role in this season.
- Key: We have matured into an apostolic, prophetic mantling now that is about taking nations.
