Did you know that Aglow has 135 FREE Bible studies on the website? Topics vary and the 2-4 page studies can be found herefound here. While many of the Bible studies have been available for years, the 2-part Watchman on the Walls study became available in 2007, the 40th Anniversary of Aglow.
JoAnne Sekowsky, an author who wrote several of the early Aglow Bible studies, does an excellent job in this study as she opens the users eyes in part one to see the importance of well-constructed walls and the duty of the watchmen who patrolled them. In Part 2 you will learn how to repair and rebuild your spiritual walls and gates. Take time to try several and use them to help disciple new believers.
After learning about the free studies while looking for something new to do, the Canon City, CO Community Lighthouse decided to go through the Watchman on the Walls study. Jamie Becksted, Lighthouse President, and also a member of the South Central CO Area Team presented the Bible studies to the Lighthouse team and off they went! Jamie said, “As I was getting ready to begin the study, I decided that we would not rush through, but take the time to look up each Bible reference and to read the whole scripture to be sure we were getting all we could.”
Much to her surprise, the team found an error in one of the Bible references. Jamie passed the info on to us and we were able to correct that mistake! Jamie said, “We all loved the study and had great conversation. Thank you to those at Aglow for making them available for us.”
