Donna Franer will be greatly celebrated for her contribution to Aglow International over the past 28+ Years. On April 18th she was joined in Heaven with her husband, Charlie, who had been a Middletown Aglow advisor for many years before his passing.
Donna worked with the founders of the first Aglow Lighthouse in the Ohio Miami Valley Area back in the 1970's holding many positions. She has worked closely with the Lebanon Aglow and Middletown Aglow over the past 20 years.
At the time of her passing, Donna was VP of Administration and a prayer leader for the Middletown Aglow Lighthouse. She attended both the Lebanon and Middletown Aglow Lighthouse meetings recently, testifying at each about how excited she was with the new direction Aglow is taking with GameChangers. Donna was enjoying walking in her true identity in Christ after participating in many GameChangers meetings.
Donna was also very excited about the 1st conference call with all of the Prayer Leaders in the State of Ohio where she saw wonderful growth coming to Ohio as a result of the state’s prayer focus and the new way of thinking as GameChangers.
Tina Marie Brown, Ohio State Leader writes, “I will never forget the first time I met Donna. We were at a Regional Event in Chillicothe, where Donna welcomed me as the new President of the Fairborn Aglow Lighthouse with open arms and one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen. When she wrapped her arms around me, it was like liquid love was flowing like honey over me. She offered to assist me in any way she could as I stepped into my new adventure as President. Her stories of involvement with Aglow over the years stirred up a great excitement within me. I recall leaving that event knowing that I was part of a Big and Powerful family of Aglow leaders. Over the years I have enjoyed getting to know Donna and her husband Charlie. Her contagious smile just beamed with Christ's love and acceptance. I will miss her greatly.”
“Donna, thank you for your dedication to Aglow International and particularly for all the seeds that you have sown within the Ohio Miami Valley Area. We will do our best, to keep the light of your love for the Lord Jesus Christ, burning in our state. I am confident that we will reap a harvest for years to come, as a result of the seeds that you have planted over the past 28+ years within our Aglow soil. Thank you for leaving such a wonderful legacy, we will miss you dear sister!”
