His Hand is on Us

This is a transcript of an excerpt from Jane Hansen Hoyt Today “Take Hold”.

When the Holy Spirit puts His hand on ours, puts His hand on our heart, puts His arms around us, we immediately feel quieted. We feel comforted. Everything in us begins to breathe at a normal pace.

We all have our ups and downs. We all have this same choice to choose the comfort of the Holy Spirit, to take hold of His hand extended, to grab on, to wrap ourselves in His arms just knowing that we're in His Presence. He's bringing comfort to us. He's bringing stability to us, and He is bringing forth the rest, the peace, and the ease that we need to feel in the midst of that situation. Trust Him. That's what the Holy Spirit wants for you today. Feel His Presence. He's there to comfort. God bless you today.

Glory Rising

Artificial Intelligence Watchmen – Stand Firm in Genesis 1:26

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is intelligence demonstrated by machines, as opposed to intelligence displayed by humans. AI comes through sophisticated programming provided by teams of human beings trained in developing artificial intelligence. AI intelligence is created by man. Human intelligence is created by God.

When developed in the right hands, AI is very useful for technology or for searching and categorizing information. However, AI programmers who are controlled by an agenda of darkness could unleash waves of attacks against humanity. They could gain control over how people think and live their lives and achieve domination over humanity. It is contrary to God’s plan for any non-human being to dominate the earth. Genesis 1:26 clearly states that God created human beings to have dominion over everything in the earth. We must pray and stand firm in that call to godly dominion.

• Pray for those who create and oversee AI development. Lord, help them to recognize You as the Only True Creator and to acknowledge that all things belong to You. Help them to use their God-given talents for the purposes of God rather than for the strategies of darkness. Give them wisdom, discernment, and humility.
• ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Pray for those who expose the dangers of AI. Lord, let their warnings be clear and let them be heard and received. Protect their lives from danger. Give them boldness and resolve. Bring them into the fullness of salvation if they do not already know You.

Summon the Nations!

Aglow International is called to take the Light of Jesus, to bring hope, and to build the Kingdom in all communities, cities, and nations.

• I will whistle for them and gather them, for I will redeem them. And they shall increase as they once increased. – Zechariah 10:8 NKJV
• Look! You will summon nations you’ve never heard of. Nations who have never heard of you will come running to follow you because Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you. – Isaiah 55:5 TPT
• Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you. – Habakkuk 1:5
• And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. – Matthew 25:32
• Lord, You said: “Aglow will have lighthouses in every nation.” It is time!
• Lord, the nations belong to You! Bring each nation into the fullness of Your plans. Bring people in each nation to the fullness of Christ by Your Spirit.
• What nation has God put on your heart? Ask Him for that nation to experience an unprecedented awakening in the Spirit of God.

Pray for Believers Who Suffer for their Faith

More than 360 million Christians suffer high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith. 1 in 7 are persecuted worldwide. 1 in 5 are persecuted in Africa. 2 in 5 are persecuted in Asia. 1 Corinthians 12:26 tells us that when one member suffers, we all suffer. Surround our brothers and sisters throughout the world who are suffering for their Faith in Christ.

• Pray especially for these nations where the greatest number of Christians are being persecuted: North Korea, Somalia, Yemen, Eritrea, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Sudan.
• 90% of the Christians who are killed because of their Faith are in Nigeria. Pray for a wall of protection around our brothers and sisters in Nigeria.
• Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also. Hebrews 13:3

Aglow in the Gates of Nations

We are praying for Aglow to be affiliated in every nation of the world. We are very close to reaching that goal. Let’s continue to move forward together, a company of champions and global leaders of significance, to see Every nation touched, every heart changed.

• Declare Awakening throughout the nations of the earth in Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, and Turkmenistan
• Lord, empower Aglow people in these nations to hasten Your Great Awakening.
• Pray for passion to fulfill Jesus’ apostolic commission to establish the Kingdom of God in each nation.
• Lord, open the gates of nations to the King of Glory!
• Lord, stir a deep compassion in me for the people of these nations.
• Pray there is an opening for Aglow International to cultivate a presence in every nation that creates an atmosphere of celebration, impartation and restoration.
• Pray for Christians in every nation to grow in courage and an overcoming spirit.
• Pray also for these African nations where Aglow has a presence. Next month we will pray for more African nations. Pray for a greater influence for the Kingdom of Heaven. Pray for new leaders to arise. Pray for younger generations as they respond to the call of leadership in Aglow.

A Note and A Prayer

The lyrics of a beautiful worship song say, “I stand in awe of You.” That is a good position for us even in the most difficult times. Stand in awe of God. Stand in His Presence with eyes and heart focused on His beauty and Majesty. In times of difficulty, we easily become so focused on the problem or the warfare or the enemy, that we miss the beauty and power of God’s Majesty. Lift up your eyes today and look for the splendor of His Majesty! Lift your soul to Him to be refreshed in His unlimited love. Lift your voice in songs of worship that fill your heart with His Presence and flood you with His overcoming, overwhelming grace. Stand in awe of Him!

Lord, as I behold Your Glory today, I lift up our Aglow sisters and brothers around the world. Truly, You are greater than any affliction or spiritual warfare that is weighing them down. Cause Your Majesty to fill each one with strength, renewed hope, and the breakthrough that comes with Your Presence. “You are beautiful beyond description, too marvelous for words; Too wonderful for comprehension like nothing ever seen or heard! Who can grasp Your infinite wisdom, who can fathom the depth of Your love! You are beautiful beyond description, Majesty enthroned above! I stand in awe of You! Holy God, to whom all praise is due, I stand in awe of You!
