He Is On His Way
This is a transcript of an excerpt from Jane Hansen Hoyt Today He Is On His Way.
This is a promise that God made to Abraham. It's found in Hebrews 6. The promise is, "Surely, in blessing I will bless you, in multiplying I will multiply you." That sounds great! Let's get with it! But the next verse says, "After he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise." . . .
If God has given you a promise, that promise will be fulfilled. Your part is to patiently wait, hope, endure, look for, be expectant, just wait. Because if He's promised, He will fulfill that promise in your life. In the meantime, He's working out many things in your life, and in the lives of those around you. He is at work, and He will glorify Himself in astounding ways by fulfilling exactly what He spoke to you, but in His timing. That's why you need to patiently endure. Be expectant. Know it's coming. Speak faith. Don't get agitated, just wait. He's on His way.
- Thank You, Lord, for Your Promises. I will wait patiently and expectantly for Your blessings.
- For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
- Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12
Summon the Nations!
Aglow International is called to take the Light of Jesus, to bring hope, and to build the Kingdom in all communities, cities, and nations
- I will whistle for them and gather them, for I will redeem them. And they shall increase as they once increased. – Zechariah 10:8 NKJV
- Look! You will summon nations you’ve never heard of. Nations who have never heard of you will come running to follow you because Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you. – Isaiah 55:5 TPT
- Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you. – Habakkuk 1:5
- And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. – Matthew 25:32
- Pray for Aglow in your Region of the world to arise as a strength in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
- Pray for nations where Aglow has not yet built a community of Kingdom believers. Lord, open the doors and resource Aglow to propel the Kingdom in these nations!
- Pray for fruit to burst forth where seeds of the Gospel have been planted.
- Ask God to put a nation on your heart to pray for regularly. What is that nation?
Israel
In 2023 the conservative-leaning government is on course to bring needed reforms to the Supreme Court of Israel. However, there is great unrest through huge protests over these reforms.
- God blesses those who bless Israel. Pray for nations to bless Israel, not try to destroy her. Pray that any “foreign money” from other nations or any other source will be stopped from being used against Israel.
- Pray for the IDF to remain free from politics in order to remain strong to defend Israel at all times.
- Pray for wisdom for the government, cabinet members, and especially Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to make righteous decisions.
- Pray for wisdom for the judges of Israel’s Supreme Court.
- Declare peace in people’s minds: no stress, emotional pressure, or spiritual attacks. Freedom in the Spirit!
Nigeria
- Nigeria is in conflict due to possible corruption in rec national elections. Aglow is positioned for such a time as this in Nigeria to crush the chaos and bring truth and peace.
- Nigeria has a high rate of persecution of Christians. Pray for the protection of God’s Glory to surround our brothers and sisters of Nigeria.
Prayer for Turkey and Syria - Earthquakes
- Pray for those who are dealing with trauma and loss. Pray for Christians to draw strength from the promises of God. Pray they will carry hope to others.
- Pray for the structural stability of buildings that have been weakened in the earthquakes.
- Lord, reveal Yourself to all who are affected by this devastation. Show them Your Love, Hope, Redemption, and Salvation. You are their Helper.
Great Awakening – Revival Continues!
There are continued extraordinary reports of the Spirit of God moving upon gatherings of people in spiritual awakening and revival. Some are the result of university students spontaneously pouring out their hearts in humble prayer, testimony and worship. Others have been sweeping crusades resulting in miracles and many coming to salvation. People around the world are hungry for an authentic encounter with the Presence of God.
- Lord, cause Your Spiritual Awakening to stir through every nation of the world!
- Draw us humbly before Your cross and cause the fire of Your Word to burn in our hearts. Holy Spirit, fall on us in a fresh way.
- Transform our lives by Your Spirit. As we are transformed, bring a reformation of righteousness in our nations. Raise up godly people as influencers in every sphere of influence in our culture.
- As we present ourselves before You, show us how to move with Your Spirit to rise to the fullness of all You want to do in us, for us, and through us.
- Give Aglow in each nation strategies to pursue Your Spirit in a fresh way.
Prophetic Declarations – Occupy Where You Live
Our prophetic words are our history given in advance. From the moment they are spoken, they belong to us and must become as real in our hearts as they are in the heart of God. As the prophetic word is spoken, see God standing in the future, speaking back to you in the present. He is telling you who you are becoming. Be encouraged!
An excerpt from Occupy Where You Live
The Lord says to you, “Walking in the Spirit is about acknowledging that every place I take you belongs to you for the time that you are present. I will teach you to occupy in the place where you live. I marked out the places where I will give you specific authority to overcome as you learn the secrets of Majesty. There is no power that can successfully oppose you on the level that you inhabit in the Beloved’s Son. You are a habitation of God. Live there. Do not live in a lower place of expectancy or faith. All your low places will become high places and as you reign in your low places, so I will elevate you to inherit more. I believe one of the things we will be doing in Aglow is writing crafted prayers for our city asking the Lord:
- What are the promises for this city? For this community, this town?
- What are the promises about employment, about sickness, about marriage?
- What are the promises over this place?
Then we will write prayers in line with those prophesies and promises and pray them. We will walk the streets and release those prayers of blessing.
- Lord, I know You have strategically positioned me as a carrier of Your Goodness, Glory and Presence. Show me how to bring Your Kingdom to my community.
- Show me Your Heart for my community so I can partner with Your Spirit to see Your purposes fulfilled.
- Lead me, Holy Spirit, to pray according to Your promises for my city and nation.
- Let Your blessings overflow through me to my neighbors, my city, my nation!
Aglow in the Gates of Nations
We are praying for Aglow to be affiliated in every nation of the world. We are very close to reaching that goal. Let’s continue to move forward together, a company of champions and global leaders of significance, to see Every nation touched, every heart changed.
- Declare Awakening throughout the nations of the earth!
- Lord, empower Aglow people in these nations to hasten Your Great Awakening.
- Pray for passion to fulfill Jesus’ apostolic commission to establish the Kingdom of God in each nation.
- Lord, open the gates of nations to the King of Glory!
- Lord, stir a deep compassion in me for the people of these nations.
- Pray there is an opening for Aglow International to cultivate a presence in every nation that creates an atmosphere of celebration, impartation and restoration.
- Pray for Christians in every nation to grow in courage and an overcoming spirit.
- Pray also for these North American nations where Aglow has a presence. Next month we will pray for more European nations. Pray for a greater influence for the Kingdom of Heaven. Pray for new leaders to arise. Pray for younger generations as they respond to the call of leadership in Aglow.

A Note and A Prayer
How precious it is to know that we are safe and secure in the Presence of the Lord. With so many dark and confusing issues in the world, we are at perfect peace and rest in Him. Whatever is going on in your life today, find that place of refuge in Christ. Whatever is going on in your nation, know that God sees, He cares, and He is your Advocate and Deliverer. How comforting it is to come out of the darkness of the world and into His comforting, strengthening, healing, glorious Light. Jesus invites us to pray from the security of His Presence. He said, “When you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly” (Matthew 6:6). Recently the lyrics of a song have been in my mind – “Hold on, help is on the way”. Truly, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, as we link our hearts together around the world in prayer, we rest in the complete peace of Your Presence. I ask You, Precious Lord, to surround Aglow leaders and intercessors with Your shalom. Wherever circumstances have led to anxiety, fear, or frustration, cause the fullness of Your Presence to overcome distress and establish peace. Where nations are in turmoil, let Your Glory arise to dispel the darkness. Oh Lord, we love You. You alone are all we need and all we desire.
