Prayer breaks chains and gives favor that is supernatural. It enables rescue and puts people in the right place at the right time.
Our prayer requests for Rescue: Freedom remain the same this month. Jeremy Vallerand, the president of Rescue: Freedom, is preparing to meet with the children onsite in Central Asia this November, at the three safe houses we are praying over.
If you haven’t yet sent in a card, would you consider doing so today? It’s as simple as sending a card and writing one of the following greetings:
- “I’m praying for you today!”
- Your favorite scripture.
- “God has good plans for you!”
- “My family and I are praying for you – God Bless you!”
THEN sign your name, location, and if you would – add a picture of yourself or your Aglow group.
FINALLY, Indicate on the envelope which safe house your card is for:
Safe House #1 – This is home to 45 teenage girls who have been rescued from brothels.
Safe House #2 – This is home to 40 young girls who have been rescued from brothels.
Safe House #3 - This is home to 40 young boys and teenage boys who have been rescued from brothels.
SEND your card to Aglow International by October 1st.
The cards will be given to Jeremy, who will distribute the cards in person as he visits with the children of each safe house. The children from each safe house will gather together and read these encouraging cards and see pictures of Christians from across the world - YOU - who have been praying for them.

We want to give a tangible expression of God’s love to these children – letting them know we are thinking of them and praying for them. So thank you for sending in a card. We have received several wonderful cards and pictures of Aglow groups. This is such a blessing – let’s flood the kids with encouragement!
Pray For Rescue: Freedom International
- Pray for new partnerships launching in the United States and Spain. Pray that God would continue to raise up leaders in those two countries who are passionate about bringing freedom to women and children.
- Pray for Rescue: Freedom’s partner in Northern India that is in need of two new facilities – a boys’ home and a girls’ home - to serve young children who were born into brothels. They have a few months before they have to move to a new facility, and need a place to go. Pray for favor and breakthrough in this area. The homes need to be in close proximity to each other because some of the children have brothers or sisters in the other home.
- When Rescue: Freedom asks young survivors what they would like people to pray for, these are three of the most common responses.
Please join in prayer for:
- Pray for their mothers. Several of the girls have mothers who are still exploited and working in brothels. Pray that their mothers would believe there is hope for their lives and that they would experience freedom.
- Pray for permanent safe houses. Due to the cost of owning property, many of the Rescue: Freedom partner sites around the world are in rented facilities, making it difficult to create a stable, long-term environment.
- Pray for the children to do well in their education. Education is one of the primary pathways to a new life.
- Pray for the staff and partners of Rescue Freedom. One of the site leaders in Central Asia passed away, and two others have been diagnosed with serious illnesses. There is a lot of warfare against those helping free people caught in slavery. Pray for protection of the families, protection over the relationships of those working in this area, wisdom, direction, and favor in raising up leaders to serve in the homes.
