Aglow Spain Conference

Aglow Spain held its largest conference ever – over 2,000 women – providing a space for encounter, reflection, and unity around the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. The gathering was held in the southern Spanish city of Cordoba. The theme was “Celebrate, Connect, Share”. Participants came from Spain, the United States, Equatorial Guinea, Finland, Greece, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Mexico. As women arrived by bus, cars, trains, and planes, excitement filled the air as they came with great expectancy.

The event included well-known national and international speakers Carolina Bueno, executive secretary of the Federation of Evangelical Religious Entities of Spain; Jose Maria Bellido, the Mayor of Cordoba, who highlighted the importance of faith and inter-religious coexistence in the city; Igna de Suarez, a Colombian Dr of Theology; Marcos Vidal, Spanish Pastor, composer and singer who won a 2023 Latin Grammy; and Rebecca Jacob, a writer and Evangelical Pastor and former Aglow Spain President.

The Cordoba City Council was involved in the logistics of the event providing transport services and welcome gifts to all participants. On Thursday evening the City Council hosted a reception with many greeting the group and the Assembly of God Pastor, Esteban Munoz de Morales offering prayer over the event.

Young worship artist and speaker, Debora Romo, shared with the group the importance of holiness and intimacy with the Lord.

On Saturday afternoon when an altar call was given, around 40 women responded!

Two bands were in charge of the times of worship. Singers gave concerts that encouraged the audience to worship God in unity. A flamenco music group and dances honored the Spanish culture. Altogether, the atmosphere was set for a powerful encounter with God.

On Sunday morning, Igna Suarez spoke on building bridges of reconciliation and restoration, mentioning the importance of joining together generations of godly women to continue to advance together. She said, “We all need each other and are better, stronger, and wiser when all generations participate.”

The event finished on Sunday with a worship and time of celebration. Igna Suarez and the Spain National Board prayed specifically over women who are mothers and young women who are seeking the Lord. It was a sweet and inspiring time for many as they joined at the altar to celebrate Jesus.

The National Board believes that this powerful time was the igniting fire of revival that will spread back to the nation of every person attending. Testimonies of impacted lives, women who were saved, passion restored, and visions received have been received. They expect to hear more and more reports because of the seeds sown into the nation of Spain.

Let His Kingdom come in Spain as it is in Heaven!
