After a long year of limited ability to gather for in-person meetings, we love hearing from our leaders who are able to start in-person meetings again. Liz Mbuzi, National President of Zambia and Aglow International Board Member, shares with us her invitation and announcement to Aglow Zambia to begin in-person meetings again and a call to a day of prayer and fasting together.
We are planning to have a meeting on October 16th and hopefully, we can continue because the Covid-19 cases and deaths have drastically reduced in our nation. This time of year is our summertime and the rain season starts in November. We hope that things will continue improving. We need a lot of money to complete our project.
Letter from Liz Mbuzi to Aglow Zambia:
Liz Mbuzi, National President of ZambiaGreetings men and women of God. We pray and trust that the Lord Almighty has continued to strengthen each one of you. We are aware that since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in Zambia in 2020, the landscape of the church and ministries took a different turn. It has not been business as usual, not only for the church but everything else got affected.
Aglow has not been spared, and face to face meetings were stopped last year. However, I bring very exciting news today as we feel it is time we got back to having face to face interactions. In this connection, all Aglow chapters in Lusaka will be holding a prayer and fasting meeting on Saturday, October 16, 2021. This will be to seek the mind of God for the ministry as well as the nation as a whole. We will be able to share Holy Communion at the end as well as some snacks as we break our fast.
