Carol RonekCarol Ronek has been a faithful Global Partner and A-Company member for so long that it predates our database information! She has served in quite a few positions on the Area Team and while she makes her home in Portland, OR, she is currently serving in the Hillsboro, OR Community Lighthouse as the Vice-President of Administration.
Carol said, "When I found Aglow 50 years ago last month, I knew it was my place to serve for the rest of my life. I was not disappointed in that at all. I learned more through Aglow than anywhere else! One of the first words I received from our local Lighthouse President many years ago was that 'God would lead me where I least expected to go.' I cannot tell you to the degree that it happened, because it was off the charts! It was so far beyond what I ever could have thought of - and it all came through my time in Aglow."
When Carol's beloved husband moved to Heaven 22 years ago, there was a huge delegation of Aglow women who attended. Carol said, "As people shared, they had so many good things to say that the memorial was very long! I was so blessed by so many good words from my Aglow friends. They are the best!"
Carol went on to say, "The bottom line in this testimony is how the Goodness of God works through His people to fulfill their destinies - His purposes - through such a wonderful group which He raised up for such a time as this. I am ever so thankful that I was privileged to be a part of it and still am today."
We will fill in that Carol has attended at least 26 conferences, Watchmen on the Wall seminars, and several prayer journeys - one to Korea, and at least one trip to Israel.
