In April this year, the East Central Pennsylvania Area Team joined with the Northeast Philadelphia Lighthouse and had a Day of Outreach to the 7th and 2nd District Philadelphia Police Departments. They gathered supplies for the two Districts and dropped them off along with a box of Philadelphia soft pretzels. They were able to spend some time with the officers, hear their prayer requests and pray with them.
Nancylee Huston, a member of the Area Team, said, “We were also able to visit a local Firehouse where they dropped off donuts and visited with the firemen. All in all, it was a truly beautiful day as we blessed and served those who bless and serve our community.”
