Karin Schreurs, President, welcomed everyone and prayed 2 Corinthians 13:14 – The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
Members of 7 Lighthouse Teams attended and enjoyed a delicious luncheon followed by fellowship. The atmosphere was electric! Together we celebrated the birth of Christ and reflected on the goodness of the Lord throughout the year. Each Lighthouse President shared a report from 2022.
Thanks to donations from the Moody Bible Institute and our Area Team, everyone in attendance received a 2023 calendar, inspirational book, and pen. Each Lighthouse Leader also received a “Name of Jesus” ornament from the Aglow Area Team.
Many of the women who celebrated with us brought stocking caps and mittens to donate to children in Wheeling Township as part of our ‘gift of the city’ outreach project. Erika Lamarre, VP of Ministry/Outreach prayed a blessing over a wicker basket overflowing with these gifts!
Marie Little, VP of Financial Development, led us in an anointed prayer of proclamation concerning financial breakthroughs and words of encouragement. The event blossomed into more manifestations of the Holy Spirit through prophetic words, singing in the Spirit, harp and bowl, and a new song called ‘Giving Glory to God.’
The atmosphere was filled with inspiration and unity as we recalled the words of Acts 17:28a, “For in Him we live and move and have our being.”
