This is an excerpt from a recent letter from Jane Hansen Hoyt, Release the Sound.
As the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, at 96, reverberated around the world, a great and effectual door opened to a new era. For 70 years she remained faithful to the proclamation spoken at the young age of 21, “I declare before you that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service…” She was steadfast and unwavering in her duty to God and those she led.
As we survey world news, we see other signs of change. We welcome the new Prime Minister in Italy, Giorgia Meloni, and we pray for the changes in Great Britain. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season….” Change is a constant. As leaders come and go, our responsibility is to pray for each to have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying and to obey it.
Dutch Sheets, a speaker at our upcoming gathering in St. Louis, MO, has reminded us often that our greatest days are not behind us; rather they are ahead of us. We see this in the Word of God, too, in the promises He has made to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, especially our sons and our daughters. His blessings toward us are generational. I believe this and pray His promises over my family, as I know you do over yours.
- And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your old men shall dream dreams; your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. – Joel 2:28-29
- To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. – Ecclesiastes 3:1
- Thank You, Lord, that all the changes in the world today are in Your Hands. We declare that they shall serve Your Holy purposes in us, in our families, in Aglow and among the nations of the world.
- Declare the fulfillment of God’s promise to pour out His Spirit upon your children and their children.
- Expect to prophesy and have visions as He pours out His Spirit on you!

Prayer for Nations
Lord, bless us, enlarge us and empower us to take territory for Your Kingdom. May we always walk with your Hand of guidance and favor upon us. Crush evil as we walk in Your Presence and power, and keep us from harm. May we carry Your blessing, demonstrate Your goodness and walk in Your love as we carry Your Name to subdue the works of darkness and release Your glory in the earth. (Adapted from I Chronicles 4:10)
Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. – Isaiah 60:1-2
- Pray for your nation – Where do you see the greatest need for a breakthrough of the glory of God upon your nation? Declare His Majesty and Glory. Expect miracles!

- United States of America – From Jane: Dutch speaks often that America must be saved. For that reason, I am asking you to be prayerful as we walk toward mid-term elections in America on November 8. With the end of Roe vs. Wade, the curse of death over America is broken and now is the time for a new sound of liberty to ring forth as men and women, who have the heart of God is elected. Prayers, decrees, dreams, visions, promises, and prophetic words have come to a supernaturally planned for moment. We know that it is time!
International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians – Month of November
- Lord, have mercy. Give them the courage to endure. Thank You for their boldness and their faithfulness to You. Help them not to give up. Manifest Your Presence to them in a powerful and comforting way.
- In many regions and countries around the world right now, Christians are not permitted to gather for worship. Pray that they may find a way to be together. Lord, protect them and veil the eyes of those who would seek to prevent such gatherings.
- Pray for believers who are prevented from accessing food, money, and other resources due to anti-Christian pressure. May they be strengthened by Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Provide for them in miraculous ways and show them Your goodness, Lord.
Prophetic Declarations
Our prophetic words are our history given in advance. From the moment they are spoken, they belong to us and must become as real in our hearts as they are in the heart of God. As the prophetic word is spoken, see God standing in the future, speaking back to you in the present. He is telling you who you are becoming. Be encouraged!

. . . The God of Breakthrough goes before us. The God of Breakthrough leads us forth! The God of Breakthrough is for us! Who can be against us? Judges tells us at the time of Deborah there was war at the gates. There has been war at the gates of this nation. There is war at the gates of Europe. - Lord, You are the God of Breakthrough! You have brought me to this time, this season, to declare Your Breakthrough in the nations!
- Lord, give me strategies to become a doer of Your Word. Show me how to walk in the fullness of Your promises.
Aglow in the Gates of Nations
We are praying for Aglow to be affiliated in every nation of the world. We are very close to reaching that goal. Let’s continue to move forward together, a company of champions and global leaders of significance, to see Every nation touched, every heart changed.

- Lord, help us to look intentionally with expectancy for others to come to Jesus!
- Lord, empower Aglow people in these nations to hasten Your Great Awakening.

- Lord, awaken us to practical ways we can “love our neighbors” and demonstrate Who You are for them.
- Pray for passion to fulfill Jesus’ apostolic commission to establish the Kingdom of God in each nation.
- Pray that an Aglow Prayer Group will be established in the capital cities of every nation.
- Pray for Aglow to establish powerful Kingdom Communities founded on the fullness of Christ in every nation.
- Pray there is an opening for Aglow International to cultivate a presence in every nation that creates an atmosphere of celebration, impartation and restoration.
- Pray for Christians in every nation to grow in courage and an overcoming spirit.
- Pray also for these European nations where Aglow has a presence. Next month we will pray for more European nations. Pray for a greater influence for the Kingdom of Heaven. Pray for new leaders to arise. Pray for younger generations as they respond to the call of leadership in Aglow.

A Note and A Prayer
Much of our governmental prayer involves spiritual warfare. We oppose the lying, deceptive, mocking spirit of the enemy and all his schemes to attempt to stop the blessings of God upon our nations. We do this by exposing lies and dismantling the structures of evil the enemy tries to impose in the minds of people and in legislation enforced on our citizens. While we war against evil, we also release the blessing of God and His purposes for our nations. We do this by declaring His goodness and praying for alignment of the mindsets of people with biblical values and godly foundations of government and legislation.
Lord, I lift up Aglow intercessors around the world as they are praying for their nations. Give them strength and courage in spiritual warfare. Increase their discernment to recognize the lies of the wicked one. Give them strategies to dismantle structures of evil in their nations. Lord, overwhelm each Aglow intercessor with Your goodness and Your blessing. Cause Your goodness to overflow and establish Your peace in our nations.
