Speak Lord, I’m Listening

I was just having a conversation with someone about the Presence of the Lord. How I treasure that. I treasure that above all things because without His Presence we really have nothing. It’s only when we sense His Presence that true life, true relationship is taking place.
In expecting and desiring the Presence of the Lord, we’re like little Samuel. We’re constantly saying, “Speak, Lord. I’m listening.”
Live expectantly. As a believer, Christ lives within you so there is a desire already placed within your spirit that is constantly drawn towards Heaven. It’s placed there by God. Always be expectant, listening with a hearing ear, “What do You have to say to us?”
He wants to meet with you. He wants you to feel the comfort, the strength, the power, the authority of His Presence. Expect Him to come to you in that way. Learn to wait for His Presence, and learn to cultivate His Presence. It will change your life.
- Lord, I quiet my heart and my thoughts because I just want to hear Your Voice.
- Slow me down, Lord. I want to experience Your Presence deeply and fully.
- When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Psalm 27:8
- My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. Exodus 33:14
- You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right Hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

Prayer for Nations
Lord, bless us, enlarge us and empower us to take territory for Your Kingdom. May we always walk with your Hand of guidance and favor upon us. Crush evil as we walk in Your Presence and power, and keep us from harm. May we carry Your blessing, demonstrate Your goodness and walk in Your love as we carry Your Name to subdue the works of darkness and release Your glory in the earth. (Adapted from I Chronicles 4:10)
Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. – Isaiah 60:1-2
Pray for your nation and the nations surrounding you:
- Lord, cause Your Glory to arise in Your people in my nation causing my nation to become a carrier of Your Glory in the earth.
- Lord, let biblical values be the standard for legislation and policies in my nation from the highest government house in the land to every family home.
- Pray for restored identity as defined by our Creator in Genesis when He created us distinctly male and female. Lord, bring legislation and policies of each nation into alignment with true identity according to Your Word.
- Lord, expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy that leads to death in my nation. Stop abortion and ineffective or politically motivated health services. Deliver people from depression, suicidal thoughts and destructive addictions.
- Lord, restore honor and a servant’s heart in government leaders.
- For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; He will save us. Isaiah 33:22
Anti-Human Trafficking
Many victims of human trafficking in the sex industry feel hopeless and helpless. They think sexual assault and abuse is normal. They see no future or hope and have no goals or dreams. They experience profound feelings of isolation.
- Lord, heal theses precious ones. Heal their broken hearts and give them hope. We cry out to You for their restoration and freedom.
- He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
Prophetic Declarations
Our prophetic words are our history given in advance. From the moment they are spoken, they belong to us and must become as real in our hearts as they are in the heart of God. As the prophetic word is spoken, see God standing in the future, speaking back to you in the present. He is telling you who you are becoming. Be encouraged! - Lord, fully align our hearts with Yours to live in expectancy of every word You have given us.
- Declare the word of the Lord over yourself and Aglow in your nation.
- Ask Holy Spirit to enlarge your understanding of what He longs to do in your life and in your nation.
- There is a new voice rising up in Aglow. It is rising up in every member, in every Region, in every nation. There is a voice rising up that is longing to speak into your circumstances. Aglow, this is your time to arise . . . This is a time to get the language of the Kingdom and lose the language of the world around you. The world says you cannot – God says, “You will.” It is your time to arise. This is Aglow’s time to cross over the Jordan of your circumstances and live in the place that God has provided.

Aglow in the Gates of Nations
We are praying for Aglow to be affiliated in every nation of the world. We are very close to reaching that goal. Let’s continue to move forward together, a company of champions and global leaders of significance, to see Every nation touched, every heart changed.
- Declare Awakening throughout the nations of the earth!
- This month pray especially for: Tuvalu, Wallis and Futuna, Western Sahara, Yemen, Afghanistan
- When the Holy Spirit stirs your heart about a person or a community or a nation, respond like Isaiah – Here am I! Send me! I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8
- Lord, empower Aglow people in these nations to hasten Your Great Awakening.
- Thank You, Lord, for Your overcoming spirit in Aglow throughout the world. Be encouraged as you share these fresh testimonies of the Goodness of God!
- Lord, awaken us to practical ways we can “love our neighbors” and demonstrate Who You are for them.
- Pray for passion to fulfill Jesus’ apostolic commission to establish the Kingdom of God in each nation.
- Pray that an Aglow Prayer Group will be established in the capital cities of every nation.
- Pray for Aglow to establish powerful Kingdom Communities founded on the fullness of Christ in every nation.
- Pray there is an opening for Aglow International to cultivate a presence in every nation that creates an atmosphere of celebration, impartation, and restoration.
- Pray for Christians in every nation to grow in courage and an overcoming spirit.
- Pray also for these European nations where Aglow has a presence. Next month we will pray for more European nations. Pray for a greater influence on the Kingdom of Heaven. Pray for new leaders to arise. Pray for younger generations as they respond to the call of leadership in Aglow.
