During their time of weekly prophetic intercession, fasting, and prayer, the Holy Spirit directed the leaders in Malawi to use COVID-19 as a tool to preach Jesus. Their theme for 2020 was a Year of Great Harvest and New Dawn of Restoration. They put into action Aglow’s tagline, Every Nation Touched, Every Heart Changed.
From September to December, they started outreaches in six districts of the central region of Malawi. They also hosted a Mega Prophetic Gathering of Champions in December. Many people surrendered their lives to Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The Aglow Malawi leaders pray that the seeds planted will take deep root.
The work of reaching out was done with an evangelistic team from the Aglow Lilongwe Lighthouse. These lovely Aglow members contributed financially, with transportation, time and effort to make these outreaches happen. The volunteers went about preaching the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ and harvesting many souls into the Kingdom of Light.
COVID-19 precaution materials were used and distributed, such as basins, sanitizers, masks, and soaps. They preached and told people that Jesus is more powerful than COVID-19!
Aglow Malawi introduced Aglow in new villages, hosted a Conference with all the Aglow districts, and reached the lost in 2020. We praise God that no matter what the world is facing, the Kingdom of God is advancing.
