The Brookville, Pennsylvania Lighthouse had the idea to write a prayer letter and to send it out to the businesses in their community. They were excited to send out 50 letters of encouragement to car dealers, hair dressers, restaurants, flower shops, the YMCA, a yarn shop, and other personally owned businesses along Main Street. Here are pieces of the letter, filled with love:
"We want you to be encouraged today by letting you know that Aglow has been praying for you. Our group prays for our community, school, government, church, and nation. Since we know you could be experiencing a difficult time during this pandemic, we would like you to know we are still praying for you and your business. Please feel free to contact us with specific needs. We pray blessings of peace and prosperity for you and that God would give you new, creative strategies of how to sell and interact with customers. It would be impossible without you in our community life and we appreciate you. We are in this together! Sincerely, Brookville Aglow"
As Linda Jones, Executive Director of the U.S. Field, has said, "Aglow groups are a gift of God to the community." Thank you for how you are standing in the gap for each other, your community, and your nation during this time of global reset. This is the time of our rising!
