Pray for Chile – 8.8 Earthquake

• Pray for the continued efforts of rescue teams as they search for victims and rescue those who are trapped or stranded
• Pray for basic immediate resources: food, water, shelter, medical care
• Pray for quick restoration of electricity, communication and transportation systems
• Pray for strength and comfort for the people of Chile
• We have received a report from Lina Thurston, Chile Aglow National President and member of the Int’l Board of Directors.  She and her family are safe.  They were able to reestablish international internet connections within hours of the earthquake so that the gospel could continue going out to the world.  Pray for the Thurstons as they bring hope and help to the people of their nation.
• Psalm 46:1-3  God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear,
  Even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.  Selah 

Candlelight of Prayer in Every Capital City

The most strategic city of each nation is the capital city.  Our purpose is to affiliate a Candlelight of Prayer in the Capital City of every nation in the world.  As we pray, we bring the influence of the Kingdom of Heaven into each nation and open the doors for its citizens to enter the blessings and promises of God.

• Pray for the Capital City of your nation – that the Name of the Lord would be lifted up
• Pray for the Aglow groups already affiliated in capital cities.  Pray that they would be strengthened in their unique call and purpose to bring the Presence of the Lord into the seat of government.
• Pray for Aglow Candlelights of Prayer to be established in capital cities where there are none yet.  Pray for a specific plan for each city.
• Pray for the Operation 222 nations.  Pray that God would raise up a team of intercessors in each capital city of those nations for a Candlelight of Prayer.
• Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD

Pray for Breakthrough in Aglow Finances

I Kings 18:41-45 – Elijah saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand that carried the provision needed to end the drought over Israel and release the harvest.  God’s hand is extended on the horizon towards Aglow.  In His hand there is the provision needed to end the financial drought over this ministry and bring us into the fullness of the harvest that He has promised.

• Pray that every barrier holding back any provision or promise that God has proclaimed over Aglow is broken.
• There is the sound of abundance! (I Kings 18:41)  Release the sound!  Release the breakthrough!  Release abundance!

Operation 222 - "Pray In" The Nations Still to be Reached

Operation 222 is a prayer assignment named for the 222 nations in the world.  Let’s continue to move forward together, an army in the Spirit, to see these nations touched by Aglow! 

• This month pray especially for: Taiwan (Taipei), Tunisia (Tunis), Turkmenistan (Ashgabat), Tuvalu (Vaiaku village, Funafuti province), Uzbekistan (Tashkent)
• Pray that an Aglow Candlelight group will be established in the capital cities of these nations
