Praying to Overcome Darkness by the Glory of the Light of Christ
From our elevated position in the heavenly places in Christ - far above all principalities and powers of darkness – we worship His Majesty and declare His Victory!
He (Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. - Colossians 1:15-18
Mighty God, we worship Your Majesty as the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable Light. To You be honor and eternal dominion!
We rejoice that You are the LIGHT of the world, and that Your LIGHT rules and reigns, unchallenged in the heavens! We declare that Your Glorious LIGHT is obliterating the hidden works of darkness generated through false worship. Release Your LIGHT and justice into the every plan of abomination, curses and wickedness. Execute Your judgements against the forces of evil that manipulate men and keep them in bondage. Expose all works of evil by Your magnificent LIGHT, and set the captives free to run to the LIGHT!
LIGHT of the world, Christ Jesus, we agree for the victory of Your Light. May the very foundations of evil be usurped by Your Illuminating Presence this day!!.
