Airport Transportation

There are three airports that service the San Jose area: Mineta San Jose Airport which is very close to downtown San Jose. Airports further away from San Jose are: San Francisco International and Oakland International Airports.

There are several transportation options to Downtown San Jose which are listed below. 

  • The least expensive option from the San Jose airport is to take the Airport Flyer #10 to the Metro/Airport Station and then take the 901 or 902 Light Rail train that goes directly into San Jose and has a stop at the Convention Center. The Airport Flyer is free; the cost for the Light Rail is $4. 
  • Taxis from San Jose Airport cost an estimated $15 - $18 per taxi so if you have 3 people the cost would only be $6 per person. Taxis are stationed at the airport for on-demand service. They are accessible from Terminal A and Terminal C.
  • Door-to-Door Shuttle services at San Jose are located on the lower level of the Terminal A parking garage and at curbside on the south end of the Terminal C baggage claim area.
