Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with their whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways.

Florida
Georgia Sabin, President of the Orange County Area Team reports that five members of the Area Team made a prayer drive through portions of Orange County. As they went, they stopped in key places, spoke the Word forth, wrote scriptures on wooden stakes and pounded the stakes into the ground. At each stop, a different word or song came forth. A second drive is planned for March 8, 2006 to pray and stake the remainder of the County! Truly this Team has taken the year of Jael to heart as well as the Isaiah 54:2-3 scriptures.
Mississippi
Susan Lasserre, President of Ocean Springs Lighthouse, MS reports that as of January 23, 2006 the Ocean Springs Lighthouse is “back in the saddle again” after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Not only is this Lighthouse back in the saddle, Susan, along with the help of the South Regional Director, Glenda Fleming, and the South Mississippi Area Team held Friday evening and Saturday morning meetings for the community. Forty-five people attended the Friday evening meeting, while seventeen attended on Saturday. There was so much excitement in the air from the beginning of practice time for the worship team until the closing word on Saturday. The focus of the event was on Israel. Five people have signed up for the May Israel trip as a result of this meeting! Several times the curator of the Center where the meetings were held came out in response to the worship. She told Susan, “This is beautiful. I was sitting in my office and I heard the songs and I wanted to see and listen.” Several women who did not attend the meetings have called and asked to be added to the mailing list for coming events. There is much excitement and awareness of Aglow as a result of this public meeting. Surely, Ocean Springs has enlarged the place of their tent and stretched out the curtains of their habitations!
Colorado
Carol Carpenter, President of Fort Collins Community Lighthouse reports a day of celebration with an International flair. The day began with a brunch featuring recipes from Hungary, Honduras, Japan, Greece, France and South Africa. While enjoying the flavorfully dishes the women watched the flag parade from the 2003 Indianapolis International Conference. The thirteen nations that were represented in the Lighthouse then raised flags from their native countries and circled the room in a parade while singing and praising God. To further experience the flavor of an International meeting, a slide show of the 2005 Conference in Nashville was shown. Following a time of dancing to praise music from Greece and Honduras, prayer was offered for the nations in Operation 222 where Aglow has not yet been established. Each woman left the meeting with a better understanding of the global ministry of Aglow International.
Illinois
Phyllis Banks, President of the Alton Lighthouse in Alton, Illinois, along with the women of Alton adopted a family from New Orleans after their home was decimated by Hurricane Katrina. The family has written a letter of commendation to the Worldwide Headquarters of Aglow International telling how the women of Alton held an appreciation/prayer party during the holidays for the family. A number of gifts were given along with other items that would help the family enjoy their first Christmas after the horror of losing their home. The family was amazed by the generosity and magnitude of the giving. What leaves a heart touches a heart.
